Finish Christmas Planning Early with 4 Weeks to Spare
Now that Thanksgiving is over and we have already decorated for Christmas around the house, we have more time to focus on some gift giving with our friends, the holiday parties, our church service program and getting our Christmas cards out.
Let me tell you how I finished my Christmas Planning early with 4 weeks to spare, and you can too.
Christmas Planning Tasks to Accomplish Early
Once Halloween was done, I got my calendar out last night since the internet and cable were out, and I wrote in my planner everything that needed to get done the month of December. I love planners and they have saved me this year.
My daughter is in a Christmas program (put in on the calendar), my church is having an ugly sweater party (I will be stopping by the thrift store, putting a date on the calendar) , my lists made for shopping (put the date on the calendar) and even Christmas dinner menu is planned and pinned on Pinterest.
This is the first year, I have had so many things organized. I have even ordered some new Christmas Music and I still have 4 weeks to spare.
The only thing that didn’t get done was……….
I always have the best of plans to have a photography session and then order my Christmas cards every year. But it never happens. Thank goodness that Shutterfly can help speed up the process.
There are other companies out there that you can use, but Shutterfly has great service and so many ideas and choices plus they have great customer service. I made a great Photo Book for my parents anniversary one year.
Today is the day I am getting my cards ordered. I didn’t hire a photographer, and I shared with my family before Dinner on Thanksgiving we would take pictures. For me to get everyone together is a task.
Well, we finally got the pictures taken, we are not color coordinated by any means, but I am excited that it is taken and I can order today. I can’t wait to show you the finished product.
Here it is, I updated this so you can see how they look. They are beautiful.
Now that all the plans are made, I think I will enjoy my own spa day to relax.
