Baking with my daughter is a tradition we enjoy each year. We love to bake cookies, fudge, cakes and lots of desserts. One thing we like to do after we bake is to Spread Cheer with Holiday Cookie Baskets.

We bought peanut butter and sugar cookie mix and decided for this baking day to make the Sugar Cookies. That way we could cut them into triangles and then decorate them.

I have to confess we are moving in two weeks and most of my baking supplies are already packed, so I had to open a few boxes to find my sprinkles, but couldn’t find my cookie cutters, so my daughter cut them into triangles to look like trees.

Holiday Cookie Baskets

Spread Cheer this Holiday with Holiday Cookie Baskets. Decorate your Sugar Cookies with fun Cookie Cutters and sprinkles and give as gifts.

  • 1 pouch Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie Mix
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/3 cup of Softened Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon flour
  • Sprinkles
  • Frosting
  • Candy Melts (optional)


  • Heat oven to 350 degrees. Add Parchment Paper to baking pan.
  • Mix in Medium Bowl Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie Mix, egg, flour, butter.
  • Roll out the dough and cut out shapes.
  • Bake for 5 – 6 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and cool.


Sugar cookies are one of the best cookies for gift giving because you can decorate them in so many ways.
