Cucumber Tea Sandwiches

Try this easy cucumber tea sandwiches with dill for your next lunch or tea party. Serve different sandwiches on the plate with scones and hot tea.

Ingredients

  • 1 English Cucumber Peeled and Sliced
  • 4 slices of White Bread
  • 4 Tablespoon Softened Butter
  • 4 Tablespoon Softened Cream Cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons Fresh Dill
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons Chives

Instructions

  • Peel and Slice Cucumber, place on paper towel to drain, Salt and Pepper to Season.
  • Spread Butter on Slices of Bread (refrigerated bread works best for spreading butter).
  • Mix Chopped Chives in Cream Cheese.
  • Spread Cream Cheese mix over butter on bread slices.
  • Cut with Circle Cookie Cutter.
  • Add fresh dill.
  • Add sliced cucumbers to sandwiches.

Notes

Best White Bread for these sandwiches is Thin Pepperidge Farm. 
Cut in different size sandwiches (Circle, Triangles and Cut in Half with crust removed)
Once done, add water moistened paper towels over sandwiches and then cover with hand kitchen towel and refrigerate.
