Your Instant Pot might be one of the best investments in Kitchen Tools you have. You can make breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert, all in the same appliance with very little clean up.

You may be wondering if you don’t have an Instant Pot yet if you really need one. Maybe you have a crockpot and you love it and not sure if there is a difference.

Just like you might have two great friends that you share different things with, that’s how it is between the Crockpot and Instant Pot.

    Crockpot VS Instant Pot

Your Instant Pot is faster and takes a little more attention than the Crockpot meals. You can make each recipe all within an hour and sometimes less than that. You can make a dessert early in the day so it can refrigerate and then make dinner in the evening. You might just need to change the sealing ring. It is preferred to have one for savory and one for sweet recipes.

Why do I need these Tools?

Let’s talk about why you want to get these cool Instant Pot Tools to make your meal making easier.

Do I need more than one Sealing Ring?

The first one is the sealing rings. Why do I need more than one? Can’t I just wash them? Well for some reason they get an odor in them that doesn’t go away. So you can always remove the seal that it comes with. It is clear, you can soak it in water with vinegar and it will clean it and remove some of the odor. The two-colored ones make it easier to use one for Chicken, or savory meals and one for sweet recipes. You can pick and choose. Try these 6 Quart Genuine Instant Pot blue and red sealing rings

    Steamer Basket

The 2nd one, the steamer basket, is great for adding water to the bottom of the pot and then adding the basket with your veggies inside. It makes the steam easy to circulate through the veggies. Steamer Basket

    Double Egg Stacker

The next one, the double egg stacker. I make hard-boiled eggs every week. The trivet inside the pot is not large enough for a dozen eggs. I like to make at least a dozen at a time because I have a large family and we eat them daily.

    Instant Pot Trivet

The next one is the trivet. Now the instant pot comes with the trivet, but if it gets damaged or you need another one, you need the trivet to keep the food above the water. This tool is a life saver.
