What are smoothie superfoods? They’re foods that provide us with a multitude of health benefits. Smoothies, for example, can be made with many different fruits and vegetables to create a healthy drink. Today I am going to tell you about some of the best superfoods to add to your smoothies, including some of the benefits they provide.

Improve Your Circulation With These 3 Superfoods

Circulation can be an issue as you get older and during natural life occurrences like pregnancy. For some, medications that are used to stimulate circulation may have side or serious consequences that the person doesn’t want to experience. Luckily, there is a superfood option: Here are a few of the superfoods that can help increase circulation in your body and get you through some of the issues you are experiencing.

    Watermelon

Watermelon is a powerful smoothie ingredient and provides health benefits independent of the rest of your ingredients. Chances are you’ll get most if not all of your immune-strengthening, stomach-soothing, artery-protecting micronutrients every day.

You can eat watermelon on a daily basis or you can choose to drink watermelon in juice form. If you choose the juice method, make sure that it is organic if store-bought or made of 100% fruit by yourself in order to get more benefits out of this tasty but sometimes expensive fruit without going through unnecessary dangers and expenses

    Black Cherry Juice

Black cherry juice is known for helping with inflammation and pain. It is also known to help blood circulation. This is due to the reduction of inflammation that black cherry juice can bring to the body. In essence, black cherries have anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce inflammation throughout the body and help circulation through reduced swelling.

    Coconut Oil

Coconut oil seems to be the cure-all for many people. It helps with skin, teeth whitening, weight loss, and so much more. Well, you can add circulation to the list. The fats in coconut oil along with other benefits such as triglycerides can help reduce inflammation specifically in blood vessels.

This helps open the blood vessels to better circulation and helps with your overall circulation throughout the body. You can take coconut oil in capsule form, liquid form, and up to three times a day. If you are taking coconut oil daily, take it in two tablespoon doses.

Many superfoods can be taken in powder form and added to juice, tea, or natural juicing methods. They can also be taken in capsule form or organically directly from the food.

Caution: As with any change to your diet, you must consult a doctor if you are on any medication, especially heart medication or blood thinners that may have an unstable interaction with some superfoods.

Superfoods To Add To Your Summer Smoothies

Smoothies and juices are a great way to cool down during the summer, and it just happens to be a great time of year for a lot of our favorite superfoods. Every smoothie should include some fruits and vegetables that are in season; there are so many different options available that it really comes down to your taste when you’re deciding which Here are a few to consider.

    Spinach

This leafy green vegetable has so many helpful attributes for daily living that it would probably be a good idea to incorporate it into your green juice whenever you can. It’s high in iron and has a vitamin K content that can help to prevent bone loss over time.

    Cucumber

Cucumber contains many minerals that are important for life functions such as the building of cells. If you add cucumber to your green drink, you’ll also get a power punch of vitamin A, which is great for your skin.

    Broccoli

Broccoli is a cruciferous vegetable that has awesome beneficial attributes. It’s extremely high vitamin levels, such as C as well as folate, or Vitamin B. Adding broccoli to your green drinks or smoothies is an easy way to get a daily serving of this healthy veggie.

    Avocado

Avocado, considered a fruit, is a superfood because it contains well over 15 different vitamins and minerals. Not only that, but they have a high concentration of fats and oils that help your soft tissues stay flexible. Avocado also contains a ton of highly antioxidant agents.

    Acai Berries

Acai berries have been popular for smoothies and juicing for almost 10 years. These little fruits are loaded with antioxidants, which are essential for protecting your body against cellular damage from free radicals. They also contain high levels of vitamins and minerals.

    Kiwi

This little tropical fruit is slightly sweet and has a ton of the common vitamins that people require, but its superpower lies with its antioxidants. Antioxidants have been shown to help reduce the opportunity for the development of cancer. Kiwis are also an excellent source of folate and other B vitamins.

    Watermelon

Watermelon contains a fair amount of vitamins and minerals, but one of the best things about it is that it has important nutrients and chemicals like lycopene that promote arterial elasticity. It also has a chemical called citrulline, which is thought to aid with the relaxation and dilation of blood vessels. Watermelon can easily be cut up and frozen to keep for drinks throughout the week.
