    Just measure out the 6 ingredients and whisk them together. Then put it into a jar with an airtight lid. The shelf life is approximately 2 years.

    Substitutions or Variations

    This recipe uses Mace which you may have not used before. You can always remove this ingredient if you choose.

    Mace is a wonderful warm yellow-brown spice that comes from the outer shell of the Nutmeg seed. You can choose to leave out this ingredient if you prefer.

    How long will this spice stay fresh?

    If properly stored in an air-tight container in a dark pantry, it should be fresh for 2 – 3 years.

    Can I change the amount of each ingredient?

    Yes, once you make this, you might want a little more cinnamon or a little less clove, depending on your taste.

    Ingredients  

    • 1 Tablespoon Ground Cinnamon
    • 2 teaspoon Ground Ginger
    • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Cloves
    • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Mace
    • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
    • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Allspice

    Instructions

    • Mix all spices together and place in a small container.
    • Shake well before each use. Keeps for several months.
