National Bake Week by A Day in Candiland

Let’s Celebrate National Bake Week starting April 3 – 9. We are celebrating with delicious cakes, loaves of bread’ and all things baked. Originally National Bake Week was started in Britain to dig into our cabinets and use all those baking tools we have stashed away and to get into the kitchen and start baking.

I know I love baking tools and gadgets. I have many pans and tools that only get used once a year. But I wouldn’t want to be without them. I bet you probably have tools and gadgets in your drawers, I challenge you to get them out and bake something this week. It’s also a great way to get your kids in the kitchen with you.

Do we really need a reason to bake? Baking can be very relaxing and maybe even therapeutic.
